Carbs: Debunking The Reputation of Being Unhealthy



Carbohydrates, often shortened to "carbs," often are spoken down on, with many people associating them with weight gain and various health problems. However, it's time to set the record straight. Carbohydrates are not inherently unhealthy; they are an essential macronutrient that plays a crucial role in our overall well-being. In this blog post, we'll delve into the reasons why carbs are not unhealthy and why they should be a valued part of a balanced diet.


Energy Source

Carbohydrates are our body's primary source of energy. When consumed, they are broken down into glucose, which fuels our cells and powers various bodily functions. Especially for those leading an active lifestyle, carbs provide the necessary energy to sustain physical activities, exercise routines, and mental functions.
